1.YOUTH OPPORTUNITIES HUB

The first platform is Youth Opportunities Hub which is a non-profit global organization which strives to make opportunities easily available for those who need it. Opportunities are posted on the website every day to ensure that you stay updated on the latest posts. When you follow the link to the website, you’ll find a tab which has a list of different opportunities which includes Grants, Jobs, scholarships and of course internships! The fact that they have a specific page for internships is exactly why they are a good platform to check out! The website does not just have a list of the internships, but it also includes information regarding the competencies and requirements, they also include a link to the application. The site is very easy to navigate, and it is quite convenient that you don’t have to go through job posts if you’re looking for internships, so please check it out!

2.PNET

The second platform which you can used to search for internships and learnerships in Pnet.co.za. This website is largely known for the job search aspect of it, but if you type “Internship” or “learnership” in the search box, it will show you a list of what you searched. The convenient aspect of this website is that it allows you to add your skill in the search as well, this way the results will be tailored to whichever skills you have. The website also helps you refine your searches to your location, this way the results which show up will be near or around where you’re located.

3.JOBSORA

As the name of the website suggests, Jobsora is a job search platform however, just like PNET, if you search for internships and learnerships they also show up. What makes Jobsora an important platform is that they, with your permission, email you daily with new opportunities related to previous key words you’ve searched. For example, let’s say you want a learnership in sales, and you search sales learnership often, the website will make you part of a mailing list  and send you posts related to sales internships every day.

4.GRADUATES24

Firstly, Graduatees24 isn’t just for graduates so even if you aren’t a graduate, you can make use of it. Graduates24 is a website which posts opportunities for people with little to no experience, they primarily post latest updates on internships, learnerships and bursaries. They also have a WhatsApp channel which you can join for updates on any new opportunities available.

5.GOOGLE

This sounds generic but companies across the country post internships and learnerships on their websites and because it may be difficult to keep track of it all, if you just google internship with your skill and location, you’ll see a bunch of results coming from the different companies’ websites.
